•Performed pre and postoperative exams on cataract and LASIK patients. 

•Performed various vision therapy techniques on patients of varying ages.

•Participated in Infantsee and developmental eye exams.
 

 2012 Wm. JB Dorn Veterans Affairs Hospital  - Columbia, SC

•Performed start-to-finish exams on veterans, most of which were of the geriatric population. 

•Managed cases of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and ARMD, along with special testing interpretations (OCT, HVF, FDT) on a daily basis.

•Examined moderate-to-high volumes of veteran patients on a semi-independent basis per day.

•Voluntary special service within the pediatric rotation with emphasis on diagnosis and management of individuals with strabismus. This service included proper examination techniques and management with glasses, patching and vision therapy. 

•Performed vision therapy for a variety of strabismic patients.

•Worked with a variety of contact lens modalities including soft, RGP, hybrid, scleral, mini-scleral and orthokeratology lenses. 

•Managed and fit complex cases including: keratoconus, scarred/damaged corneas and high refractive errors.

•Examined patients from a variety of cultures daily.
